Sukiyaki is one of the Japanese gorgeous dish we prepare at our home. For those who are not familiar with it, SUKIYAKI is a mixture of steak and hot pot, and has been prepared and enjoyed by Japanese people only in special occasion such as someone's birthday, New Year's Day, and perhaps when a father gets his bonus. Beef is the main ingredients along with vegetables, and Tohu. They are seasoned with soy sauce, sugar, and sake before we dip them into raw eggs to eat. If you could request beforehand, we could go shopping together to buy ingredients so you can select what you like and don't like. I know a wonderful supermarket.
Let's make our original SUKIYAKI together!
Hi, I 'm Yusuke. I live in a bit north from he central part of Kyoto city. I am a male cooker, who love Japanese food and to serve them to people.
My sales points:
Relatively cheap;my dish will be valued between 1,000yen to 2,000yen as making money is not number one priority of mine. It is to have fun with my guests.
Fluent in English; I have four-year experience of guiding foreign tourists as club activity back in college, and graduated English faculty, so I have no problem communicating people in English(doesn't mean I rule out non-English speaking guests.) I am excited to share some stories with you about society and poeple's life here in Japan as well as your travel episodes!
Activity available after meal; I would love to explore my neighborhood with you after meal if you would like to. There are temples, shrines, a university I went to, and beautiful rivers all in walking distance. Let's have fun.
I live in a flat, so the room is 1DK. It is small. I have no chairs to sit, so we are expected to sit on the floor when eating.
Thank you for reading. I look forward for your visit!
