Moqueca is an original brazilian fish stew. If you are vegetarian, you know that travelling can bring you some antropological problems in matter of food. World wide food is done with a type of meat, but we broke that barrier for you and now you can experience some delicious and typical brazillian dish in vegetarian style. :) It is served with rice and farofa de banana (manioc flour with banana)!
We also serve brazillian cachaça, a fresh made juice and a typical brazillian desert goiabada with cheese.
This is one of the best meetings through KitchHike! They are quite nice people! Super! We talked about some themes of Brazil while enjoying the home made veggie meals they cooked. It was very exciting conversation. We learned many “real” things about Brazil from them. And we watched the Brazilian movie “City Of God” she recommended to us after eating. It made us think about real Brazil deeply. Including all, was beautiful and delicious experience. Highly recommended!!!
Its always a bit tacky to describe yourself, hahaha. Wel, my name is Barbara, I'm 28 years old, I live in Rio for years now with Ivan my hubby! I love travelling, cooking, watching movies, riding bikes, doing yoga, animals (we have two fat and adorable cats), aaaaaaand we are vegetarian! :)
