I'm a former ALT with JET in Japan. When I am not at work, I read, occasionally write and watch old series. I love food, the idea of it as well the potentials and the eating. I enjoy reading recipes, food blogs and watch people cook on YouTube all the time. I'm especially fascinated by desserts, not eating them as much as making them though I like to eat them too! I am from Jamaica, an island with a rich food culture. Jamaican cuisine has been influenced by the mix of people who have lived and the descendants of whom still live there. There are Amerindian, African, Spanish, Asian and European influences. I think the Jamaican cuisine is worth sharing because of this delightful fusion of flavours, cooking styles and ideas.
